What is your favorite quote? I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me.
Why did you begin this digital sanctuary?
For many years, I was not placed on this Earth void of purpose. I asked for meaning and purpose, and I finally heard the culmination of my purpose, and it was to help others who suffer and live void of purpose to believe in Christ and live a life on earth toil-free but filled with Joy. Everything that Christ said is true, and I want others to avoid some of the traps that I fell into.
Why Concentrate on Mental Health Awareness?
Battles With Mental Health, I battled with mental health throughout my life, from high school when I was ridiculed for my dark skin, from being publicly embarrassed when a young woman told me as a ninth grader, that she left me a mirror so I could be as pretty as "I think that I am". To adulthood, I noticed that God would not allow just anything to attach to me. I did not understand how beautiful God made me, so I began to lower my standards to fit it. Whatever you can imagine happening to a young lady happened to me, but not until I was in St. Pete, Florida. I heard the voice of God say, ' You were created in my image.' If you feel that you are ugly and worthless, then that is the image of me. That is the day that I picked up a mirror and vowed never to be down on myself again.

Why do you talk so much about mental health?

Jaz's Authenticity
Why do you feel people are drawn to you?

Jazton Burnett is the greatest gift that God gave me, next to life and purpose. Jazton is a degree clinical behavior psychoanalytical therapist. He has a passion for helping others heal and a passion for helping youth who have come from less-than-stellar home and life situations. Although he calls me mom, I learn so much from him as he walks this life out. My only prayer is that he keeps God's first. He will make mistakes, we all do, but I am proud of the man, the mistakes and the great things he will do for mental health.
